Right of withdrawal
For consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB. The German version is legally binding.
Right of withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day of conclusion of the contract. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform Lektoria (info@lektoria.eu) by means of a clear statement (e.g. email) of your decision. To comply with the withdrawal period it is sufficient that the notification of exercise of the right of withdrawal is sent before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
Consequences of withdrawal
In case of an effective withdrawal, all payments will be refunded without delay, at the latest within 14 days, via the same payment method used for the original transaction. No additional fees arise.
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal
Lektoria provides a service (proofreading). The right of withdrawal expires if the consumer has expressly requested that performance begin before the withdrawal period expires and has acknowledged that they lose the right of withdrawal upon full performance of the contract (§ 356(4) BGB). Both confirmations are given explicitly via a dedicated checkbox at checkout, before payment.
